using #dalle2 images
You are Jakub Kowalczyk, an ensign aboard ππ©π¦ ππ¦π³π¬π³πͺπΆ, an exploratory space vessel on a five-year mission. Scroll down to begin!
This project was originally envisioned as a much larger, much more ambitious game. My goal was to create a βsilentβ image-only sci-fi epic using hundreds of Dall*E 2 images.
Then on June 1, the Dall*E 2 inputs were limited to just 50 a day. On June 8, Dall*E 2 was further limitedβit would only create 6 images per prompt, down from 10.
So what youβre looking at took me 14 days to do, working about 90 minutes a day. Some days I only was able to create two or three usable images.
I had to decide whether to spend three months trying to create a game that matched my ambitionsβ¦or post this much smaller version.
This one was beautiful! With most of the tweets image only, I was left to create my own story and details in my head. Totally fun. The visual consistency you were able to achieve with the characters was impressive too. What a surprising and joyful experience for my Monday. Thank you Thinkwert!
